Movies are a great way to escape the reality of actual life. There are movies that can touch us all in some form or fashion. Whether you call them motion pictures, or you call them movies, these films are considered to be pure entertainment. Some of the biggest films in history have been released in 2018, and these movies have broken records in the process. For “Avengers Infinity War,” one of its very own former-graduates served as AIW’s animation supervisor.
Jan Philip Cramer just so happens to be the animation supervisor at Disney Studios, and he has earned a BFA from the Academy of Art University’s School of Animation & Visual Effects in 2004. “Avengers Infinity War” is an action-packed film with plenty of star power. During its opening weekend, the film grossed $640.9 million. That’s right! This specific $640.9 million has giving it the title as the biggest opening weekend movie in history. “These are moments that you dream of,” said Cramer. Cramer also stated that he couldn’t believe that Disney entrusted him to come-up with such ideas for a film like this. On Rotten Tomatoes, a film critic’s website, “Infinity War” scored a 92 percent rating by the audience. Yes, that’s 92 percent out of 100 percent.
The Academy of Art University has played a hand in many of Hollywood’s movies such as “Sully,” “Deadpool,” “Pixels” and “Independence Day.” This institution is located in San Francisco, California, and it offers a variety of online courses, undergraduate degrees and certificates. Founded in 1929 by Richard Stephens, the Academy of Art University has produced talent such as Raven Symone, Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad.
