The Future of Elective Healthcare

Elective healthcare has been growing by leaps and bounds over the past few decades. This specific field of work has untapped potential that’s waiting to be explored. There are a number of high-quality elective healthcare practices in the US, but there is one that stands out from the pack. OVME is its name and providing the very best in minimal-invasive procedures is its game. OVME recently opened its doors in early 2018, and it has taken the industry by storm. This facility is modern, is sleek and is loaded with cutting-edge equipment. The word luxury perfectly identifies what this medical practice truly is. The facility was founded by Dr. Mark McKenna, and it offers some of the most luxurious medical-aesthetic services, including:

  • Botox
  • Laser Hair Removal
  • Weight Loss Programs
  • Dermal Fillers
  • Hormonal Therapy
  • Dysport Treatments
  • Intense Pulsed Light Treatments
  • B-12 Shots
  • And many more

The options are literally endless and this is how Dr. Mark McKenna wanted it to be. OVME and Dr. Mark McKenna compliments each other very well. He has always had a profound love for doing this type of work. The one-size-fits-all approach of the past is over. These services posses an uber-style about them as the patient is able to choose what he or she wants.

“We have invested in data, and we have invested in technology,” said McKenna. If there is anyone who truly knows about this subject, then it surely is Dr. Mark McKenna. He has at least 20 years of knowledge in the tasks at hand, and he has built a solid foundation by previously working as a medical doctor. It doesn’t get more in-depth than this, and it doesn’t get much better than Dr. Mark McKenna.

Dr. Jennifer Walden Says There is a Price to Pay

Dr. Jennifer Walden grew up in Austin and was the second best student in her medical school. Walden took her medical studies at the Texas Medical University, which is in Galveston. She then proceeded to the aesthetic surgery fellowship among several other students at the Manhanhattan EA&T Hospital. Walden then proceeded to build a career, which was successful in New York City, before finally returning to Austin, her hometown, in 2011. Other than doing plastic surgery, Walden is also an author as she co-authored the book called Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Walden says that she has been a practicing plastic surgery for a series of 8 years. Her primary specialization is cosmetic surgery conducting such procedures as face-lifts, breast augmentation, eyelid lifts, and nose jobs also called rhinoplasties. She says that the costs for augmentation are $7, 000 while face lifts cost $10, 000 and the rhinoplasties costs between $8, 000 to $9, and 000. Other procedures that are conducted are liposuction of body parts such as arms, abdomen, and inner thighs. She also conducts invasive procedures such as soft tissue fillers and Botox Injections.

Dr. Walden further says that she is a rarity since very few women take on her career path. Many avoid the path because it demands that one delays their marriage and childbearing age as they pursue their career. One has to undergo serious training and year of dedication before establishing a successful career. She says they only 851 out of the 8, 100 certified plastic surgeons are women. The number further reduces because only 180 Kenyans are members of the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Society. Moreover, only a dozen of the women live in Texas, making them quite a rarity. Dr. Walden says that plastic surgery is male dominated as men tend to have more flexible schedules since they do not have to go for maternity leaves as their female counterparts.
